IT Power for the the poorest and the weekest

I feel the tremendous problem solving and structural reform powers of the IT should be utilized more in support of the poorer communities and countries. But because of its pre-requirements of highly qualified human resources and prohibitive costs initiailly, these sections are unable to harness the powers of the IT. In view of the above factors only rich and dominant communities and countries are able to appreciate the benefits of IT.

We need to seriously think on this and come up with a strategy on IT for the weekest and the Poorest.

The TakingITglobal community if concentrates on this topic we shall be able to provide a great service to humanity and to the spread of IT.

It doesnot cost much for achieve this goal. The commitment and sincerity is the most important thing which will realise this goal. How can we call ourselves civilised when a fellow humanbeing is starving or digging food from garbage. If we call entire world as one family as told in vedic scripts "vasudhaika Kutumbam" then can we allow our member of family allowed to be straved.

Any human being once born anywhere in the world shall live with dignity. It becomes the collective obligation of all humanbeings to ensure such dignity to all. Even if a single individual human being anywhere in the world is starving or digging food in garbage, i feel that all of us can not be called cultured people.
